GLASS VARIETY
Safety Glass
If the glass breaks, this type of glass does not
cause serious injuries to people. The glass
consists of distinct properties and
characteristics of breakage. The most common
glass is tempered and laminated.
Glass lamination is fabricated in a way that if
it breaks, all of the pieces of glass remain
together by the membrane that joins them. At
Valcor Samcor glass is laminated through a
process called “Lamination by Liquid Resin of
Cured Ultraviolet”, which allows for the
creation of multiple combinations of colors and
gages. In addition, there is a benefit of a
reduction of transmitted sound.
Self Cleaning Glass
This is a glass that cleans itself.
It has a special recovering in the exterior that
when exposed to daylight, it decomposes dirt and
disintegrates it. When rain or water wets the
glass, the dirt drifts away with the water.
Solar Controlled Glass
This glass limits the transmittal of heat. It is
designed with find metal layers that allow some
solar light to pass through the glass, and in
turn controlling the temperature.
Manufacturing good

1. It is cut manually or automatically.
2. If applicable, the borders are polished or
perforations are made.
3. The glass can be used in regular, tempered,
or laminated.
4. Tempered glass is processed using a special
equipment.
5. Laminated glass is processed in various
steps, combining various types of glass.
